You first acted for us as buyers’ agent to bid for us at an auction for a house in Hunters Hill. Although we were unsuccessful at the auction, your advice about the pros and cons of the property helped us to formulate an appropriate limit and auction strategy.
You subsequently showed us a number of other off-market opportunities which you felt would suit us before we settled upon the house we ultimately purchased. We needed to find a property in Sydney and asked Douglas and Sharon Vincent of Hunters Buyers Agents to assist us with the search as it was difficult to be effective whilst living outside of the city in country NSW. Douglas called regularly and discussed various properties. He called to say he had found an outstanding opportunity and insisted we come up to Sydney to inspect a property that had just come on to the market.

We were engaged to find suitable development sites for senior’s strata titled housing on the North Shore of Sydney. Douglas and Sharon researched extensively and found a number of suitable opportunities for them. Hunters Buyers Agents were instrumental in enabling the client to secure an attractive property in St Ives. The potential to develop a top of the range product close to amenities was an important ingredient of the search.
A well known business identity approached us to source a suitable property for his daughter. It was to be a property in close vicinity to other members of the family on the Hunters Hill peninsula and it was important to the client to keep the search confidential. Sharon spent a great deal of time sourcing appropriate properties. The client was able to secure a property close to the client’s home, which was one of the significant parts of the brief.
A couple from Hunters Hill were wanting to find a townhouse with city views and they were delighted to discover the services that we offered to assist them. Although they had previously been searching in the Hunters Hill area, they had been unable to find anything suitable. We carried out extensive research not only in Hunters Hill, but also in nearby waterside suburbs. We sourced a property just outside their initial search area in Drummoyne. The townhouse was located on the waterfront with panoramic harbour and city views. It is a superb property and ideal for the client’s needs. Sharon inspected the property on Wednesday and arranged for the clients to inspect the property on Friday morning and the property was immediately secured by the client. The buyers acknowledge that without the help of Hunters Buyers Agents, they would not have inspected it or even been aware it was on the market. A great result.
A family who live in country New South Wales contacted us to find a city apartment for them. The specific requirements given to us were that it be within a ten minute walk of Sydney Cricket Ground and the property should ideally have three bedrooms and a double garage. Our clients were looking to spend up to a certain amount and we were able to secure the perfect property very close to that amount. To achieve this, Douglas researched over seventy properties, inspected many and eventually finally found the ideal property. We sourced the property in Surry Hills on the Tuesday, inspected it on Wednesday and the clients flew in and inspected it on Friday. Contracts were exchanged on the following Tuesday. They are very happy buyers and so pleased to be able to get a result without the expense and time needed to constantly come to Sydney to look.
